Was up and about early this Monday…to think I had to endure more than an hour’s drive to work…Not lethargic whatsoever. Was pumped to get to work and do what needs to be done.

Come evening, I get a love letter from my boss…and boy oh boy, did I feel the love. We all get an increase…Wee!!!

I’m so excited to work…I love it!!!

Today, after some time, I am back to being a commuter. My car is currently indisposed and is in dire need of fixing. I was supposed to drive another car but circumstances seem to have deemed me to be a passenger for this wonderful traffic laden Friday.

I actually enjoyed my trip today. Twas fairly easy. And to think that it’s extra difficult driving every Friday. Traffic was horrible. I imagine the pain it would’ve caused my legs if I was traversing Edsa or trying to work my way around it. I managed to nap a bit whilst in transit, which is truly a good thing. I’m thinking if I should do it more often. Hmmmm. But then again, I work pretty late at night and sometimes it’s just a bit impossible to find a decent cab ride going to and from home and work. Not to mention and I hear, the insane amount of the trip…enough to give you a headache. Hahahaha.

Flashback some 8 years ago. I remember taking the fx and the cab and the murt (MRT) just to keep my crazy sked going. I badly needed my own car back then. Sometimes I would find myself almost in tears from not being able to get a ride…missing a train, missing a spot in the fx-or worse, getting rained on. Believe me,I had a lot of those emo episodes…hahaha. I’ll never forget though this lady who shared with me her umbrella while we lined up for an fx ride to Novaliches as I used to work late nights at ABC5 (now TV5).

So many things come to mind when you’re not on the driver’s seat. I usually talk to myself when driving or talk to my passenger if I have one. So when I’m just a passenger in the midst of strangers, I get to think about more things…nostalgic even. Today, I was thinking again about going back to teaching, er at least pursuing it. I doubt I’d be finishing my MA…don’t have that much heart for it. But I was just thinking of what to do next. I feel that I have a 3 year expiration. I have to do something…I always get into this fit whenever I get so much think time. Pffft.And all this think time is making me hungry.

Well anyway, I am tryna get stoked for the weekend. Long one for a lot of people and I might do some photo work as well. Hurrah. If I don’t get to do some teaching, I might settle for that photo work. What say me? I say yeah!!!

And these are just even a snippet of what was goin on in my head as I sat in the backseat…will be back being a driver later tonight. Oh well…

I was never a fan of hers but I would have to give her credit where credit is due, she’s a real gem of a talent. I mean, come on —the girl can sing, can dance and can really act. She deserves where she is right now because we all know that she really worked hard for this, and just like the ones before her, she sacrificed most of her childhood for all this fame and fortune.

She had to grow up fast. And we don’t really understand the extent and depth of what she’s going through now especially following the divorce of her equally famous dad (Country phenom, Billy Ray Cyrus) to her mom.

But you gotta give it to her. You can tell that she loves her fans and she appreciates where she is right now because of them. I sincerely hope she wouldn’t lose it at any point. I think she’s just a normal kid trying to live her life the way she’d like it to. Hopefully she doesn’t end up doing any more crazy stuff that will further give the paparazzi a field day.I guess things will never be the same for her.

She’s in town doing a show today. Hopefully she’d feel the love from this part of the world. I bet she will. “Miley-smiles” all over the place I can imagine… yeahhhhh, it’s a party outside the USA…

Interesting news from the US about a congressman from NY exchanging lewd pictures on twitter and even sexting…The man is married and is not the best looking dude in the planet. His crotch shot is a bit puzzling for me.

What is up with people not being discreet? Of all places, share your nude photos on twitter? What were they thinking? Obviously they weren’t.

This was not the first time that twitter has become a venue for pornographic acts. Not too long ago, Paramore’s Haley Williams was the center of the issue and Blake Lively, the  most recent person in question. I’m sure you’ve gotten curious about the GG’s pics…was it really her? That’s not really the point. Whoever posed and posted those pics are just out of their minds…or maybe not! Maybe that’s exactly where they want to be …the limelight. No room for being low key.

I personally do not judge people who pose nude or have taken sexy pictures of themselves. I understand very well (and you should too!) that these are meant to be shared only with people you trust and love and care for. So before you snap snap away, please think twice or even thrice…the last thing we want to happen is for these pics to get into the wrong hands. Perhaps, you might want to delete them as soon as possible? or keep them in a really safe place. And oh, your hard drive is not a safe place…hahaha, especially your phone!!!
